Emily is an experienced civil litigator and trial lawyer focused on leveraging the best results possible for clients. She has represented defendants in a variety of subject areas including general liability, premises liability, insurance defense, employment discrimination, medical malpractice, class actions, section 1983 claims, and administrative law. Emily also has plaintiff's-side experience in environmental litigation, Covid-19 litigation, and regulatory compliance. She is experienced in all stages of litigation, including appellate and writ practice.

During the academic year, Emily coaches law students in trial advocacy skills and evidence at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law under head coach Circuit Judge David C. Mason. Emily was an adjunct professor teaching trial practice skills at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri from fall 2017 until she returned to St. Louis in summer 2019.

Community Involvement

Emily is a member of the American Chamber Chorale in St. Louis, an auditioned vocal ensemble in St. Louis County. She is also a member of St. Louis Wild Ones and the St. Louis Audubon Society, through which her yard is certified silver for wildlife conservation.
